The FP 100 is Trotec’s flatbed, gantry-based laser. It features a pulsed fiber laser source and a working surface of 24" × 12" (610 × 305 mm). Fiber laser technology guarantees reliable operation for many years, the company says.
The company’s high speed, control enables speeds as fast as 2 m per second. Maximum resolution is 1,000 dpi. Types of materials that can be processed include coating metals, stainless steel, titanium, tool steel and various medical-grade plastics. This unit is well-suited for medical instruments and surgical implants, the company says.
