The company’s new series of precision RDT quick-change tapping collets with axial compensation have been redesigned to increase durability and performance in rigid tapping applications or for applications requiring axial compensation, the company says.
The collets will convert any standard RD/ER collet chuck into a quick-change, length-compensating tap holder.
Featuring a friction-free precision ball bearing drive, the collets reduce or eliminate tap breakage and are said to provide 2-second tap changes.
