Trunnion tables offer an effective way to get the most out of a rotary indexer. They enable shops to machine multiple sides of a part on a VMC without unclamping it. Plus, when quick-change subplates are used, an operator can set up a new job in a fixture mounted on another subplate while the machine runs the current job.
