Brush and machine deburring products provider Abtex Corp. (Dresden, New York) has created the Abtex Deburring Systems Group to help customers streamline deburring operations through the use of machine vision, robotics and other automation technologies. The Deburring Systems division is set up to enable customers to integrate Abtex deburring equipment into existing operations for efficiency. According to the company, benefits of these systems range from enhancing the flow of a single operation to deburring multiple surfaces of a part in a single step.
Abtex executive Jason Saner will head the Deburring Systems Group. “The formation of the Abtex ‘DS’ Group, in conjunction with our recent acquisition of Nihmble Technologies, completes the marriage between brush and machine for Abtex in that we are now able to address the activities leading up to and following deburring,” Mr. Saner says.
