Steve Schermann is the applications manager at Milltronics USA and brings over 25 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining, programming and process optimization. A true advocate for the needs of high-mix, low-volume job shops, Steve has spent his career helping shops improve efficiency, reduce setup time and simplify complex machining challenges.

At Milltronics, Steve leads the applications engineering team, working directly with customers to implement practical solutions using the company’s conversational control and CNC platforms. Known for his clear, no-nonsense approach, he specializes in bridging the gap between the shop floor and modern manufacturing technology.

Whether he’s programming a complex part, helping a customer optimize a setup or training new operators, Steve’s passion lies in making CNC more accessible and productive for everyday job shops.
