Cooper Standard (Novi, Michigan) will help sponsor the second Careers for Veterans 200 event August 15, 2015 at the Michigan International Speedway. The event raises funds for non-profit organizations to provide transition training and support for veterans in the workplace. This year’s race will also help provide scholarships for a pilot group of women participating in the Inforum Center of Leadership’s Next4Vets training program as well as support for training programs at Macomb Community College. Event contributions also provide funding for Focus: Hope’s veteran training programs.
The event was started in 2014 by the Cooper Standard Foundation and Brad Keselowski Racing of NASCAR as part of Cooper Standard’s Careers for Veterans program.
