Index Announces New Distributors
Sales territories are being realigned as four new distributors and the extension of one longtime distributor partnership bring greater service to U.S. Index and Traub customers.

Index Corp., as part of a revitalized sales, marketing, and service strategy at the company, has realigned its sales territories and partnered with several new distributors.
“With the challenges facing manufacturers today, including with part cost reductions and limited skilled manpower, Index will educate the precision parts markets to the unequaled productivity and profitability of Index and Traub solutions,” says Tom Clark, president and CEO. “Leveraging the reputations of our dealer organizations, with local sales and service capability, we will provide our customers the most productive turning solutions with excellent local support.”
- Technical Equipment Sales (Cincinnati, Ohio) will represent Index and Traub precision turning machines in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Technical Equipment operates three offices in Ohio.
- Marcus Machinery (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) expands its representation of Index into West Virginia. Marcus Machinery has represented Index and Traub in Western Pennsylvania since 2014.
- Premier Machine Tool Midwest LLC (Hartland, Wisconsin) will represent Index in Wisconsin.
- Integrated Machinery Systems (IMS; Itasca, Illinois) will represent Index and Traub in Northern Illinois. IMS provides quality machine tools to the automotive, aerospace/defense, energy, medical, die/mold industries and metal cutting machine shops. Started in 1975, it provides training, support and machine demonstration at its showroom. The staff at IMS are well-versed in helping shops in their territory optimize their production.
- CNC Solutions (Milpitas, California) combines the talent of over 60 years in the machine tool industry with experience including service, applications, and sales. According to the company, its mission is to provide customers with high quality machine tools that allow them to compete in the world economy.
