NIMS Partners with Winners of Job Training Grant
Community colleges will build precision manufacturing training programs with help from NIMS and TAACCCT grants.

The National Institute for 91视频 Skills (NIMS, Fairfax, Virginia) is partnering with 30 community colleges that were part of the five winning applications selected to receive Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grants. NIMS will work with the five lead colleges to deliver industry-aligned training. Those colleges are Central Arizona College in Colligde, Arizona; South Central College in North Mankato, Minnesota; Richland College in Dallas, Texas; Lorain County Community College in Elyria, Ohio; and Texas State Technical College in Abilene, Texas. The partnership’s goal is to increase the number of students with industry-recognized credentials and improve the employment and earning outcomes of participants.
