Machine tool manufacturer Sodick Inc. has launched a new direct sales structure in the state of Ohio. The move is expected to reduce costs for end users and to allow for greater communication with customers.
Sodick has appointed Joe Caine and Brad Angeny to be sales managers for this territory, with Mr. Caine supporting customers located east of Interstate 77 and Mr. Angeny supporting those on the western half of the state. Both people are experienced Sodick district managers.
Through this new direct sales model, Sodick says it will eliminate intermediary costs and save customers money. Additionally, Ohio manufacturers will have a direct line of communication to Sodick management, improving responsiveness to the local area’s needs.
