Verisurf Software Inc. has announced a distribution agreement with which names Verisurf as worldwide distributor for Peel 3D’s complete product line.
Peel 3D’s capture software now features integrated tools for direct transfer of captured measurement data to Verisurf software, and Peel 3D’s turnkey scanning and reverse engineering solution ships ready for rapid deployment.
The Verisurf Scan Data Reverse Engineering Suite, which Verisurf has included in a bundle with Peel 3D’s system, is part of Verisurf 2020. Verisurf says its software is unique for its dedication to Model-Based Definition (MBD) while it performs measurement, inspection, and reverse engineering — and for using a CAD/CAM platform as its base. The company says this combination enables greater compatibility and workflow integration while providing more complete end-to-end solutions.
Peel 3D says the Peel 2 scanner enables users to tackle scanning jobs requiring greater measurement resolution, color capture, enhanced tracking and increased accuracy for complex geometry.
“Verisurf customers will benefit from this easy-to-use 3D scanning and reverse engineering solution at a price point that is sure to please educational institutions and manufacturers alike,” says Ernie Husted, president and CEO of Verisurf. “Our collaboration with Peel 3D will continue our mission to help our educational clients better teach 3D-measurement technologies, and to help manufacturing customers improve their overall efficiency.”
“We are proud that Verisurf recognized the value that Peel 3D brings to the table,” says François Leclerc, program manager at Peel 3D. “Peel 3D offers great 3D scanning performance and unbelievable ease of use — at a fraction of the cost of other entry-level offerings on the market.”
