Wisconsin Trade Show to Feature “Safety Roadshow” Exhibit

The Wisconsin Manufacturing & Technology Show (WIMTS), Wisconsin’s largest manufacturing event, will take place October 3-5, 2017, featuring 148,000 square feet of machining, metrology, design, waterjet, fabrication, welding, software, 3D printing and engineering exhibits. The show, which hosted about 5,000 attendees last year, will include an interactive 3M exhibit for industry professionals and a Next Generation Manufacturing Summit.
The show will be in the Wisconsin State Fair Park’s Exposition Center in West Allis, Wisconsin, near Milwaukee. Attendees can learn more and register at .
The 3M exhibit will be open October 4 and will feature the : a 48-foot long, fully-equipped mobile training center showcasing 3M’s industrial safety expertise and Personal Protective Equipment. The Safety Roadshow truck will be conducting training sessions all day.
3M is also the “platinum sponsor” of the Next Generation Manufacturing Summit, also to be held the morning of October 4. This paid event, presented by BizTimes Media and Milwaukee 7, will feature a panel of manufacturing executives, including Matt McKenzie, Director of Abrasive Manufacturing for 3M. Panelists will share their best practices and insights related to competing in a global marketplace. Following the panel discussion, attendees can select from four 25-minute roundtable sessions. Table topics will include growth through exporting and sales, supply chain management, process improvement, leadership development, acquisitions, talent pipeline, innovation, additive manufacturing and more. for this event.
