Zeiss will feature its Comet L3D 2, a compact member of its family of 3D sensors that enables easy and fast measurements. The device uses the latest sensor technology and project-oriented software for easy and reliable 3D data capture, the company says. The Colin3D high-performance software platform ensures consistently efficient and goal-oriented workflow during the entire measuring process.
With a range of working distances from 45 to 500 mm, the sensor is said to ensure problem-free operation even in cramped conditions. It has a fast warmup mode, enabling the operator to concentrate fully on the measuring task. Available options to create an integrated measurement system include rotary tables, tripods and a variety of computers. For flexibility, the sensor is compact and lightweight for transport between application sites. Simple on-site calibration enables changing the measuring field by swapping lenses.
