The company is now offering soft jaws made from 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. These are said to be approximately 25 percent stronger yet 1/3 the weight of typical soft steel jaws. According to the company, these aluminum soft jaws offer increased gripping power at higher speeds. They are said to cut easier than steel, reducing tool wear and allowing for quicker setups. The aluminum soft jaws are designed for longer runs or when the highest quality material is required. These soft jaws are available for 6", 8", 10", 12" and 15" chucks with 1.5 mm × 60-degree serrations.
