Along with its line of spring-loaded devices, Northwestern Tools offers the Press-Thru ball plunger. Built oversized to secure firmly into the hole, the plunger is available in six diameters: 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2". Each diameter features two spring pressures.
The device has the same body dimensions, spring pressure and materials as the company’s Press Fit ball plunger but lacks a flange on the ball end. Without a flange, the plunger can be used in applications with less clearance. In addition, this configuration allows insertion into the workpiece from any angle by pressing the body so the plunger end is flush with the surface.
