Lenox’s Versa Pro carbide-tipped band saw blades leverage a carbide tip and the company’s Honex technology to deliver long blade life across a variety of metals and cutting applications. The carbide tips are said to increase productivity. The blades are designed for cutting a range of metals including carbon steels, alloys, tool steel, stainless and more.
Honex is a process that pre-hones the cutting edge in order to minimize chipping and help eliminate the break-in process. Other features include a multi-chip tooth design to balance chip load and reduce cutting forces; a moderately aggressive rake angle for easy penetration and balanced wear; and precisely ground carbide tips with clean, sharp edges that deliver smooth parts and quiet cutting.
