Esab’s DMX automated plasma beveler has a simple, compact design that is said to improve performance. It is designed for high reliability, enhanced safety and simple use. It cuts the full range of weld preparations including V, Y, X and K bevels, with cut angles as large as to 45 degrees on materials ranging to 50 mm.
The beveler pairs with the company’s SmartBevel technology, which is designed for easy programming and accurate bevel cutting with minimal operator intervention. The technology includes beveling data and geometric compensations necessary to cut V, X, Y and K bevels on mild steel from 6 to 50 mm thick.
