The bridge gantry-type RBP from Reis Robotics is designed for the economic production of large structures in railway vehicle construction, shipbuilding, steel construction and wind energy power plant construction. The system offers a 135 × 12 × 3 m work envelope and can be equipped with two robots in different configurations. Besides the longitudinal and transversal axis of the gantry itself, the Reis RV20-16 can be moved along a vertical axis for a total of 15 available axes. Alternatively, the three-hand axes of the articulated-arm robot can be combined with three linear axes to achieve a six-axis robot.
