The units feature a near flush collet nut that virtually eliminates tool overhang, thus improving accuracy and tool rigidity, the company says. Collet pockets are concentric to the spindle taper to 0.0002" TIR, placing the tool on the spindle center line; taper tolerances are AT3 or better.
