Featuring a compact footprint, the high-performance Maxiem 0707 JetCutting waterjet from Omax is well-suited for smaller shops focusing on prototypes, short production runs or small-scale cutting products. According to the company, the waterjet cuts high-quality, complex parts from materials including metal, plastic, glass, ceramic, stone and composites within a 0.762 × 0.762 m cutting travel area. Parts are cut directly from the plate with a single tool to reduce setup time and material usage. Available in a variety of horsepower options, the system’s direct-drive pump offers fast part-processing speeds and is said to enhance operational efficiencies. Omax’s Intelli-Max software suite with motion control technology enables fast, accurate waterjet cutting across a range of materials, the company says.
