Guhring鈥檚 RT 100 T series聽spiral-flute, deep-hole drills are聽capable of drilling to 20, 25 or 30 脳 D. According to the company, the solid carbide, coolant-fed drills enable high feeds and speeds.
The drills feature a flute geometry designed to improve chip evacuation. A large coolant-duct profile provides coolant to the cutting edge for lubrication and cooling. The drills聽are also equipped with polished flutes to aid chip flow, while Super-A coated tips protect against abrasive materials to prolong tool life, the company says. The drills聽are available in diameters ranging from 3.5 to 8 mm, with 20-mm-diameter drills available on request.
