New unpolished diamond dresser bar blanks have been added to the company's product line. The unpolished version is best suited for applications that require less dimensional control and surface finish. This product is not suitable for wear applications requiring a low coefficient of friction. The company says these unpolished dresser bar blanks are priced at a lower cost than the standard polished material. New price supplements are available upon request.
Standard polished wear and dresser bar diamond intended for demanding applications requiring smooth, flat parallel surfaces are also available.
Both versions of dresser bar diamonds are produced in the company's CVD chambers, featuring void-free composition with a density of 3.5 g/cm3. Likewise, both are cleaned to the same standards to ensure adhesion to surfaces or potting compounds, the company says.
The product lines are available in a variety of sizes from 0.2 mm to more than 1.2 mm thick and in lengths up to 25 mm long. Customs sizes and lengths up to 76 mm are available on request.
