Mikron Tool鈥檚 drill program for small diameter ranges includes the MiquMill Frontchamfer. Available in diameters as small as 1 mm, the mini chamfer mill is designed to machine hard-to-reach spots. The tool features uniform cutting characteristics over the entire cutting edge.
The tool features four to six teeth, depending on diameter, to increase cutting speeds and surface quality. Also, a specially adapted coating is designed for increased tool life. The mill is suited for machining of virtually all metals. For machining materials with hardness of 56 HRC or more, the company recommends a special execution with an adapted geometry.
Diameters from 1 to 6 mm are available from stock, and the standard milling tool has a bevel angle of 90 degrees. Special executions with different diameters, lengths or angles are available upon request.
