The company’s Opening drill is designed to enlarge existing holes, even on low-hp machines. This product consists of a diameter range of 2.00" to 5.62" and drill holders in 1 to 2.5× depth-to-diameter ratios. The drill holders are available with replaceable, adjustable cartridges. The proprietary insert is offered in AM200 and TiN coating.
The BT-A drill introduces T-A replaceable tip technology. According to the company, the T-A drilling system inserts maximize penetration rates and tool life. The product works with standard BTA single-tube designs to flush spent coolant and chips through the tool. The drill insert is replaceable, so there is no need to regrind, and balanced cutting offers increased feed rates.
The GEN3SYS high penetration drilling system is designed to tackle ‘difficult-to-machine’ drilling applications. The company says the system improves hole quality, surface finish and true position when compared to competitive products. The replaceable drill insert allows for maximum machine uptime and reduces setup time.
