The Ball Nose finishing mills have been modified to enhance performance and increase versatility. Most of the company’s tools now have longer reach capabilities, providing increased milling depth without in-house tool modification. In addition, the tools are supplied with solid, hardened-steel cutter bodies, which, the company says, results in a more solid cutting tool that maximizes rigidity. It should be noted, however, that through-tool coolant cutter bodies are still available upon request from the company.
