BLM Group will display its LT5 fiber laser and Elect XL tube bender. Part of the company’s Lasertube family, the LT5 is an entry-level automated laser tube-cutting system designed to handle small- and medium-sized tubes. The machine’s versatile 1-kW IPG fiber laser enables efficient processing of mild steel as well as highly reflective materials, including aluminum, copper and brass. The fiber laser is said to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs and eliminate routine laser maintenance and optical beam alignments.
The Elect XL all-electric 12-axis tube-bending machine is designed to offer productivity, flexibility and accuracy for bending large tubes ranging to 150 mm (6") in diameter. It is suitable for automotive, machinery, motorcycle, hydraulic, railway and shipyard applications. The multi-stack bender is capable of holding as many as eight tool sets for rapidly processing complex parts with faster change-overs. It also is equipped with VGP3D graphical programming software.
The company will also provide information on its LT Jumbo automatic laser tube-cutting system, EM 80 CNC end-machining center and its automatic tube saw line-up.
