Leaders-In background

The RB-200F five-axis, bridge-type machining center is said to offer efficient and accurate machining of complex parts. The machine is suited for die and mold applications; multi-angle milling and drilling; and contour milling and flat machining. General-purpose applications include aluminum rotor castings, stainless steel machinery components, crank cases and wood or plastic patterns.

The machine provides rigidity with sturdy spindle head and ram assemblies as well as cast iron, cast steel and steel weldment construction. The machine is available in two 50-taper spindle versions. One offers power rated at 30/25 kW and speed from 40 to 10,000 rpm; the other offers 55/50 kW and 150 to 15,000 rpm.

The machine’s table size measures 79" × 157" and has a load capacity of more than 33,000 lbs (15,400 lbs for the high speed machine version). The X-, Y-, Z- and W-axis travels are 167" × 114" × 23.6" × 33.5". The cutting feed rates in X and Y axes are 394 ipm (590 ipm is offered as option).

Spindle head rotation in the B axis is ±95 degrees and ±360 degrees in the C axis (continuous rotation is optional). Standard features include a 40-tool ATC, through-the-tool coolant delivery, chip conveyors, splash guards and a Fanuc 30i CNC.
