Dillon Manufacturing offers full-grip jaws to fit chuck sizes ranging from 6" to 24" in diameter, in both standard height and extra-high jaws. The cast aluminum (356-T6) wraparound-type top jaws are said to reduce distortion and provide more friction for drive during turning operations.
According to the company, the jaws can provide minimum jaw force for thin-walled parts, and distribute gripping pressure over more of the workpiece’s surface to maintain repetitive accuracy. They can be adapted to mount both manual and power chucks, and are well-suited for applications including valves, cylinders, flanges, retainer rings and other thin-walled parts such as gas turbine pumps.
