The Zenith grinding machine uses three grinding technologies—aluminum oxide, "diamond-hard" plated cubic boron nitride (CBN) and vitrified CBN—to grind rotors as large as 420 mm. The machine also offers the flexibility of using tooling from the company’s existing grinding machines and those of its competitors.
This technology encompasses modern innovations with an “easy feel” control system that incorporates both a development and production software suite to suit various user requirements in either research and development or mass production, the company says.
