Grinder Lineup Combines Versatility, Simple Programming

Supertec Machinery is introducing its lineup of grinders and machine tools. The Powermaster PMG-60A is a CNC turret-type ID/OD grinder with an angle head OD wheel, a plunge-type OD wheel and an ID spindle mounted on a programmable turret.
The Easy-820CNC three-axis surface grinder comes with either a CNC with easily programmable, conversational format or an optional FANUC control. It also has a a 5-hp spindle motor and linear ways.
The EGM-350CNC ID grinder combines an ID spindle with a second spindle for face and shoulder grinding. This combination is designed for versatility, enabling the grinding of ID as well as OD parts.
The G25P-50CNC cylindrical grinder is designed to be a suitable size for most shops. It features a work-size envelope, a 10" swing and a distance of 20" between centers. An optional Babbit bearing wheelhead enables grinding of hard materials such as carbide.
The Planotec-1224NC automatic surface grinder features a conversational control with a 9" color screen, a 7.5-hp spindle motor, a ballscrew and AC servomotor on the downfeed, and a ballscew on the crossfeed.
The STC-1206 manual centerless grinder is said to provide easy change-over from through-feed to in-feed grinding work.
