Holroyd’s Zenith 400 helical profile grinding machine has the capability to use three different grinding abrasives: vitrified aluminum or silicon oxide; “diamond hard,” plated CBN; and vitrified, dressable CBN. With a 420-mm maximum diameter grinding capability, the machine is well-suited for screw compressor rotor manufacturers. It is equipped with Holroyd’s profile management software (HPMS) for high-precision scanning.
