The carbide Groove Turn System (GTS) and Cut-Off System (COS) inserts for grooving, profiling and cut-off have been added to accommodate standard toolholder systems. The GTS groove-turn system offers computer-engineered inserts that are designed to provide chip control when grooving, turning or profiling in any direction. The company鈥檚 COS cut-off insert has a positive chip form geometry that is coupled with a PVD-coated grade. According to the company, these properties foster straight, smooth cut-off while promoting long tooling life on demanding materials.
