Ganesh’s VFM 4020 Express VMC features a 40" × 23" table. The 6-ton machine is equipped with cross-roller linear ways to damp cutting vibration, provide quality surface finish and improve tool life. Pre-tensioned, double-anchored ballscrews and 40-block look-ahead in the Fanuc OiMD control enable the VMC to generate precise programmed feature definition. The 20-hp, direct-drive spindle supplies spindle speeds ranging to 15,000 rpm. X-, Y- and Z-axis travels measure 40" × 23" × 23", respectively. The ATC can accommodate as many as 40 tools. An indexer and a full fourth-axis rotary and five-axis trunnion table are available.
