The VCF4 wheels are the latest generation in the Norton line of vitrified-bonded creep-feed products. These high-porosity wheels combine ceramic seeded-gel abrasives and bonding technology to provide strength and form holding.

The formula bond results in wheels that can hold form while reducing the wheel’s hardness, thus minimizing the risk of thermal damage. A reduction in hardness or wheel letter grade allows for high metal removal rates with less power draw, the company says.
Ìý
Users can potentially reduce costs because grinding time is reduced, and there is said to be less downtime associated with changing wheels.
Ìý
Availabe in 5" to 28" diameters, the wheels feature primary grit sizes of 80 and 120. Grit sizes ranging from 46 to 120 are also offered.
