Behringer Saws’ HBE Dynamic-series horizontal band saw is designed to improve performance and precision while maximizing user convenience and safety. Its cast iron, dual-column frame provides rigidity, eliminates stress, reduces vibration and enhances blade tension. Two linear ways and four guides facilitate precise and accurate vertical movement of the blade. Cutting accuracy is further enhanced by the horizontal band arrangement, hydraulically tensioned blade and double roller bearings for blade guidance. Four available models offer a cutting range from 10.2" to 26.0" in diameter for round stock and from 11.8" × 10.2" to 28.0" × 26.0" for flat stock. Stroke length is 25.6", and blade speed ranges from 50 to 350 ft./min.
A servo-driven, precision downfeed control automatically adjusts blade pressure to create an optimal balance between pressure and feed rate for improved quality, faster cutting and prolonged blade life. An electrically powered, ballscrew-driven material feed gripper eliminates backlash and ensures precise material positioning. The saw also features an automatic feed control that automatically adjusts cutting parameters such as blade speed and downfeed rate to the material grade and shape.
