Dynabrade offers the National Detroit Legacy Series of pneumatic sanding tools, including dual-action, gear-driven and long board sanders offered in various sizes. The 5"- and 6"-diameter DAQ dual-action sanders are designed for sanding filler and primer, removing rust and scale, and feather edging. The 5"- and 6"-diameter ELZ dual-action sanders are for fine finishing, sanding drop and base coats, and polishing.
The 8"-diameter gear-driven sander operates at 800 rpm for stock removal, leveling, paint removal and body filler sanding. The FB8 long board sander runs at 6,000 rpm and features a 2¾" × 16" rubber sanding pad. The company says it is good for leveling, sanding body filler and various blending applications.
