Part of the Fixture Pro family, Jergens’ 130-mm low-profile vise extends the work area for multi-axis applications. This self-centering vise increases Z-axis travel while maintaining the same characteristics as the company’s larger vises. The rigid slide assembly and sealed leadscrew provide accuracy, repeatability and long service life, according to the company. Available in standard and “Drop-and-Lock” versions, the vise is designed to reduce setup time. Providing up to 3,400 lbs of clamping force at 40 foot-pounds of torque, this vise is available with and without studs and includes a 12-mm hex wrench.
The vise is further supported by a line of jaw and insert options and accessories. Jaw materials include aluminum, soft steel and hardened steel. Insets include serrated, peaked, dovetail and scalloped. Accessories include a hold-down and a slide-stop assembly.
