Seco Tools’ Mini range of milling cutters is designed to machine extremely small features. The tools combine solid carbide construction, advanced tool coatings and optimized cutting geometries to provide high levels of productivity and precision for machining micro-feature molds.
An ultrafine carbide grade and thin, durable coatings provide sharp cutting edges to achieve quality surface finishes while extending tool life and reducing stress on the machine and tool, the company says. Available in diameters ranging from 0.0039" to 0.0590" (0.1 to 2.0 mm), the milling cutters are suited for range of applications, from soft, malleable materials to hardened steel.
