Big Kaiser’s modular, zero-point Unilock stabilizer system provides lateral support for tall parts during machining, welding or assembly processes and enables the transfer of loads down to the table or base. The stabilizer is said to adjust to any new part, promoting efficiency and saving on workholding costs. The modular system attaches to the worktable and the side of the workpiece to provide lateral support. The stabilizer helps to offset cutting forces, which increase as the cutting area gets further away from the table.
The Unilock stabilizer system works with mobile parts of odd shapes and sizes and can be adjusted as needed. The company says that the system is quick to set up. The system is also said to stack easily and uses a variety of gripping forms.
