The Integrex j-200 multitasking machine features Mazak’s Matrix Nexus CNC to optimize multitasking programming. The CNC enables conversational and EIA/ISO programming, and offers realistic 3D machining simulations, time study analysis and the Mazak Voice Advisor.
The machine is equipped with independent milling spindle headstocks with B-axis indexing, full Y-axis travels and tool storage. The main turning spindle with C-axis control features an 8" chuck mounted on a 5,000-rpm, 15-hp (11-kW) integral spindle motor that generates 119 foot-pounds of torque. A 12,000-rpm, 10-hp (7.5-kW) milling spindle indexes in 5-degree increments from -30 to 190 degrees and travels 7.87" in the Y axis. Rapid traverse rates are 40 m/min. (1,575 ipm) in the X, Y and Z axes.
Strokes of 450 mm (17.7") in the X axis and 200 mm (7.87") in the Y axis enable face milling, end milling and drilling above and below the centerline without C-axis indexing. Components as long as 500 mm (19.69") with diameters ranging to 500 mm (19.69") can be machined. The machine is equipped with the company’s MX hybrid roller guide system, said to extend tool life. A 20-tool magazine is standard, with 36 and 72-tool capacity options available for reducing tooling setup times and providing machining flexibility.
