Hypertherm subsidiary Omax Corporation’s OptiMax waterjet is designed to quickly turn prints into parts while relying less on highly experienced operators. Omax says this waterjet is designed for manufacturers in need of a versatile, easy-to-use cutting system. It comes equipped with Omax’s software for optimized cutting capability and power, along with improved automation to maximize uptime. It supports a large range of work efficiently and quickly.
The OptiMax comes with IntelliMax software, designed for ease of use and enabling operation quickly following installation. The company has incorporated decades of waterjet cutting models into this design to ensure consistent, quality part production.
Also standard is the IntelliVisor console that provides key metrics to optimize operations as well as complete system monitoring to avoid unplanned downtime. An EnduroMax pump automatically sets the correct pressure and minimizes fluctuations to improve component life, while offering efficient waterjet pump technology. The IntelliTrax drive system with advanced motion control increases system robustness and reliability. It is designed to require very little maintenance. The OptiMax also incorporates a new garnet delivery system to further minimize downtime.
An optional TiltaJet taper compensation head is available. Other optional usability features include water level control, under-bridge lighting and a machine status indicator. All OptiMax products include comprehensive, after-sales service with unlimited free training and software upgrades, as well as a host of efficiency-centered resources to maximize uptime and keep customers cutting.
