Cogsdill offers its Shefcut reamer and fine boring tools with a replaceable precision-ground carbide cutting blade with one cutting edge. These tools are designed to produce accurately-sized, extremely straight and round bores with fine surface finishes, and are said to be easy to set.
The line includes a non-adjustable reamer design for applications where the bore tolerance is ±0.0005" (0.0127 mm) or greater on a specific diameter. The replaceable cutting blade needs no setting with this design, according to the company.
