The company's Model V420 is a single-spindle vertical CNC lathe. Features include 12" solid hydraulic chuck with A2-8 spindle nose; 25/30 hp AC dual winding spindle drive motor, equivalent to a geared head, that delivers 25-2,500 rpm; and V12 HrC 55 hardened and ground turret. Specifications include max. turning diameter: 16.54", length: 16.14", spindle height from floor: 38.19"; X axis 13.78", Z axis 16.14"; and diameter: 10.23" coupling with 9,070 lbs clamping force. The machine features a Fanuc 18TC (18iTB) CNC control system.
The machine is available with a Pro-Package that includes an auto door, spindle air blow system, straddle tool ready (2003 model only), bed shower, tool work counter, 100 psi (1500 HMF) coolant system (2003 model only) and 160M (525') memory (2003 model only).
