Inline, interchangeable vee bearings replace the conventional ball or sleeve bearings. The drills are mounted within an interchangeable drive pulley and held against the vee bearings by means of a drive belt. The company says that the drill essentially becomes its own spindle, virtually eliminating the runout that is a common factor in conventional machines using ball bearings, sleeve bearings, spindles, collets or chucks.
