Diamond Star, a product line of solid carbide end mills for the aerospace, medical, die and mold industries, is available with inch sizes and a range of geometries. The MS coating offers its users faster speed and feed rates by excelling in heat-resistance and coating bond strength, therefore making the MS coating harder and tougher, the company says. Combined with a micro-grain carbide substrate, the end mills are said to achieve longer tool life at high tool speeds and feeds. This product is targeted for machining materials such as Inconel, titanium alloys and stainless steels.聽聽
