Rego-Fix offers an addition to its line of retrofit ReCool coolant-through systems, the ReCool RCR/ERM. The system provides the same benefits of ReCool technology to Swiss-style machines, but also enables the use of emulsion or pure-oil coolants.
The system is said to cost-effectively convert existing flood-cooled driven tools with ERM mini threads to through-tool capable in as little as two minutes. The system is designed to get coolant to the cutting edge and remove heat from the cutting zone, contributing to better surface finishes, longer tool life, improved chip control and increased productivity. The ReCool Mini accommodates standard speeds ranging to 12,000 rpm and coolant pressures ranging to 1,450 psi (100 bar), with 2,150 psi (150 bar) as an option.
Rego-Fix also offers all-in-one conversion packages for its IntRlox slip-proof mini clamping nut system and rigid holders for high-security tool holding in high cutting force applications.
