Kaiser Tool Company has expanded its line of Thinbit Groove ‘N Turn inserts to offer part-off tools both with and without 7-degree cutoff lead angles. Available with either right- or left-hand cutoff angles, the inserts are designed for applications requiring clean cutoff edges on the workpiece.
Able to cut workpieces with diameters as large as 1", the tools are available in groove widths of 0.025", 0.045", 0.062", 0.085" and 0.115". They are designed to fit into the company’s Groove N’ Turn toolholders, which can accommodate multiple insert styles.
