The CTX 410 and the CTX 510 are two new universal turning machines in the company's CTX 10 series. The series offers integrated spindle motors and fast-indexing turrets. The CTX 410 and the CTX 510 feature three open controls that the company says include high-tech software. The universal machines can also be delivered with Siemens 840D latest ShopTurn-3D programming software, Heidenhain IT with DINPlus or Fanuc 21i TB with the Manual Guide.
Other highlights of these universal turning machines are said to include a 3D interface for optimal operator comfort; high, rapid traverse speeds for short positioning times; and driven tools in all stations (optional).
