The Up! Service Network has launched a video chat feature to its solution-based service network. Up! Video Chat expands communication between the service requester and the service provider, helping to save both time and cost, according to the company. This feature helps service providers to give guidance on how to make repairs and provide diagnostics remotely.
Video Chat can help refine the estimating process through the enhancement of a virtual visit. Users can show a service provider a problem in real-time on their phone or tablet as they review repair options. The video chat can easily switch from a horizontal to a vertical view, enabling the requester to get into the machine and move around to get the view the service provider needs. Service providers can also begin repair virtually, or develop more accurate estimates in terms of both cost and time.
The feature is available on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. It is compatible across platforms including Android, Apple and on desktops via the website.
