Izar Herramientas de Amorebieta S.A.L offers a carbide K30F+XTIALN end mill with a variable helix referenced 9406. End mills can suffer vibrations during machining and on occasions in which the metal chippings are not dislodged correctly. Therefore, they can cause micro-breakages in the cutting edge. According to the
company, the HV IzarTool end mills virtually eliminate these vibrations during machining and the dislodgement of shavings is thus improved. This is said to yield
enhanced finishing and increases its advance by about 40 to 50 percent.
For optimum working conditions, the milling height must be 1.5 times the diameter of the end mill.
