Versatile VMC With Centrally Located Y-Axis Drive

Available from NTC America, the ZV4000 VMC is designed for multiple machining operations with a variety of workpieces. Its rigid construction and Y-axis drive located at the center of the machine provide enhanced accuracy, the company says. A 20/15-hp spindle motor comes standard, and an optional 25/20-hp spindle motor also is available. Maximum spindle speeds are 12,000 rpm. XYZ axis travels are 23.6" × 17.7" × 17.7", all with rapid traverse rates of 1,969 ipm. The table size is 20.5" × 18.9".
